i'm talking about a pro dealer who mixes the cards after every hand, riffles several times and cuts two or three times onto a cut card. no other players touch the deck and they only use one deck which is changed two or three times in a session. after the deck change they always spread the cards so the players can see it's regular deck.
i guess it's not possible. i've never actually noticed anything dodgy but am interested.
the video and advice you gave is just for home games when players are dealing themselves, right?
thanks a lot for the time and effort putting the vid together and responding to queries
See the first 2 mins of my video (I think its the part where I explain the stack). Assuming you have a competent card mechanic as a casino dealer, he should be able to deal out a cold deck (e.g AA vs KK) every hand. Its especially easy in hold em since you only need to set up 2 cards (like AA to one person) or 4 cards (AA vs KK) to carry out a cold deck.
Lets take a 6 handed game for example. Basically what you're asking is whether its possible for a dealer to give one player a winner and one player a loser. A dealer like myself would be able to stack X,X,X,X,K,A,X,X,X,X,K,A. The X stands for an in different card. So when the cards are dealt..
1st-4th player: xx
5th player: KK
6th player: AA
I don't see a reason for a casino dealer to do this though because he needs to be a card mechanic and he needs to get bribed a lot of money. It is easy though, to stack a deck like that. Very easy.
I'd go so far as to say that its easier for a casino dealer to cheat than a guy in a self dealt game. You have control of the cards all the time and you even cut it yourself!
