depends on # of limpers and stats of first limper. If there are many limpers who are all nits, then fine raise it up all day long with those hands. If it's a series of loose passives, then 99 sucks balls to raise with and is way better to complete; AQ is really good to raise because they will limp/call with dominated hands, but just be aware of how much strength you are representing when you raise, get called in 3 spots, flop top pair on Q75, and then bet into 3 players. In a vaccuum, anyone could raise you and you'll fold everything but a set or KK+. But then again, lol loose passives and micro stakes.
Also (of course) depends on the position of said limpers. Naturally, 2 players limping in LP will have a much weaker range than 2 players limping in EP (although I ˆ
have seen someone overlimp and then CALL preflop in LP with KK, flop top set, and then get 0 value).
What you also have to realize is that your range to raise from the SB after a bunch of people limp is usually pretty face up. I have yet to see very many regulars who raise other than say 99+/ATs+ after 3 or 4 limpers.
From the BB, these hands are totally different since you can opt for a free flop. Hands like AQ/AJs are tricky only when the SB raises after a bunch of limpers. What do you do here? I think flatting is probably best with suited AJ+ due to the mw value they have, and folding or 3-betting the offsuit AJ+ is best for similar reasons. And 99/TT/JJ is a flat because you can easily overset someone and the implied odds go up from the probability you get overcalls.
