One problem is that an unknown at 2nl is so wildly different than an unknown at 50nl, any generalized advice is likely to be -EV.
Another is that VPIP and PFR converge fairly rapidly at the extremes. If someone hasn't played in 15 hands, I'm going to assume their fairly tight when they eventually come in, no matter what the aggregate "unknown" does. PFR gives are reasonable clue as to their ATS until that locks in. I'd rather be using incomplete real data vs. a combo player. If it really is just a few hands, you just assume their bets say exactly what their hand is until they prove otherwise.
Finally, any aggregate player data is going to be stale in 6 months anyway.
