Only 11 hand sample size on villain so far. Thoughts on calling 3-bet pre and then what the heck do I do with this virtual shove on the rag flop with no reads?

His 3b is pretty small, so I think it's fine. Pretty easy fold now. It's usually just going to be exactly what it looks like.

No reason to call OTF when readless. You'll find better spots to get your money in.
I don't mind the 3! Call but are you ever going to feel great unless you hit a set? Just a thought I guess.

As strange as it seems, calling (mostly on the river) has been my biggest problem so far moving up from NL5 to NL10. Seems the players at NL5 were full of crap a lot more.

Though I was still at about 10 bb/100 in my first 6,000 hands at NL10, I'm down more than six buyins on hands in which I call on the river. Huge leak, even though that's not exactly what we're looking at here.

This is AK a fair bit believe it or not, but equally I've seen them shove stuff like KK because they basically suck post flop and don't know how to play 3bet pots.

Re OP talking about NL5 and NL10 differences. There's very little difference. People are still FOS like they are at NL5, just takes more balls to call those larger river bluffs.

It's just variance if you were calling those river spots at NL5 and getting it right, and now at NL10 they have you beat. Everything I'm doing atm is turning to ****, variance is just a bitch sometimes.

MehMeh

AK still has 27%, we are level against FD + overcards and dead vs higher pair.

Given that the pot is still pretty small fold.

Getting it in against 27% is fist pumping, it's not a reason to fold.

Still a fold due to how much we invested though yeah.
