Villain has 40 VPIP/ 8 PFR so he's pretty fishy.

I raised the river hoping to get value from worse aces but faced a tough decision when my opponent 3-bet jammed.

You have a 2-street value hand. So Bet small on the Flop for the B-X-C (B-X-B) line or you can start to value betting on the Turn after X-X on the Flop.

It's a tough spot on the river but we are ahead against worse two pairs (A3, A8), and the recreational player might overvalue his weaker Ace-x hands.

I would cbet the flop to target 9x plus draws, and then small bet the turn and bet very big on the river for value. As played his overbet is two pair plus. I think he does have weaker though and not very much AA or KK given preflop action, and I also think 99 or 88 dont slowplay this much either. The only thing you get beat here by is 33 pretty much. I might be a nit here, and just call his overbet without a read. The more I know him though, the more I do raise call it off....but i think i need a read to do so. The reason I say this is because some two pair may not even overbet you may just see 33.
