Turn, you can definitely consider checking back. However, you still need a pretty decent amount of bluffs, so I'd certainly consider betting to be a valid option. River shove, I'm not too sure about though. Basically, what worse hands are you aiming to get called by? Some spade draws with an As maybe, possibly AJ, but how often is that calling turn? Overall, I feel your holding works better as a X/c OTR, as you may get villain to fire off with some bluffs, and you do block the straight.

I think it's pretty wp up until river- would prefer x and allow him to bluff as well

I don't think MP bluffs this river very much if we x. They likely x back JJ, QJ, Tx, etc.
