No I was HERO I messed up the trying to alter the HH because in a solver AA checks back (but you shouldn't in practice) and I wanted to avoid that discussion and focus on the river XR.

Interesting, maybe I'll just put the original HH. I was trying to get too cute by altering it. Solver 100% X's back river but I refuse to believe that is the highest EV line.

yeah i tried to make it so the Aces were mixed OTR and not pure checked back like a solver would do because I wanted the emphasis to be on the river XR and not people saying "Check back Aces OTR!."

No I meant there are too many of those to be able to bet the black aces in the first HH.

I gotcha. Well i think they only XR a flush on the river and might not XR all of them, and we have the ace, so theres not too many hands that actually beat us. I could flick in the call thinking about it now but I dont know if I could in game if im being honest.

Regs would legit check bunch of strong hands on this river expecting you to bet all air and go for thin value. I think it's a fold, but yeah if he is good he can raise bunch of 9x as a bluff and have a lot of value too.

Yeah I think that would be a sick play to xr lighter for value here as BB but don't think most 200nl regs are good enough for that. I actually think this river is overbluffed even vs B75 BUvsBB, going to get data on it but I did end up calling with the AdAx here.

Actually, they do (hence the weaker player) though position would do this as well. Along with the bluff. IMO.

What was the result?

Really no point in betting this river unless you have a specific read on the villain. They will never call worse on a runout like this and can x/r you at their will. On the flip side - a lot of BB's diamonds here are combo draws so I wonder if he'd x/r the flop making his range more bluff heavy on the river here. I also think these type of lines get raised alot OTR these days when your opponent knows he's behind and has no other option.
