At the time of playing this guy was 10/6/0 over 65 hands but later creped up to 16/13. Im running 17/16/8 steal42 at this table. The previous few hands I had been raising... 3 out of 5 or so.

I've been on an extremely run with AA or KK so that probably helped me fold here.

I think villian was set mining here and made his set. Not many hands to go by so hard to tell, but he seems to be playing pretty solid over your sample. I'd fold. If he's playing solid, he's more than likely not raising over the top with TPTK. Can't be sure though. I'd fold and wait for more stats to come in.

You block the NFD which leaves not many draws for him to be semi bluffing, leaving him quite polarised.

I like the fold against the nit.
