Neither position should have many strong hands on this board. I have a tendency to check range when this occurs. V's sometimes show up with things they shouldn't and will stab frequently facing a check. V is 31/25/27 VPIP/PFR/3b after 17 hands.

BTN: 100 BB
SB: 76 BB
BB: 123.7 BB
Hero (UTG): 141.3 BB
MP: 114.9 BB
CO: 106.9 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has x x

Hero raises to 2.5 BB, MP calls 2.5 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold

Flop: (6.5 BB, 2 players) 5 T 3
Hero ?

The guy is probably a fish if he is calling from this position. Just cbet since his range is most likely wider than it should be.

It gets complicated. There's all different types of fish and definitely x/c or x/r line would be higher EV vs some % of them.

As a default I'd play my value straight forward.

We are allowed to bluff fish too. I'd over barrel turn/river when A-J comes vs a fish and under do it vs a reg.

I don't bluff fish with very little equity

well all your bluffs have 0 equity OTR so it's villain dependent. but it's skewed in such a way that if someone calls like 20% more than they should you can reduce 100% of your bluffs

We have some equity here. Any 6,7,J,Q, or club on the turn is at the very least good for our hand. Not to mention we can also bet very often on any A or K.

I agree with DDP's original point of cbetting more often vs fish (board dependent) since their ranges are too wide (filled with junk that can't continue). The mistake a lot of players make is giving up after firing that first barrel.
