Anonymous fast fold tables...

Ignition - $0.50 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB: 194.48 BB
BB: 156.8 BB
UTG: 101.74 BB
MP: 99 BB
CO: 127.72 BB
Hero (BTN): 100 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K 6

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 2.5 BB, SB raises to 7.98 BB, fold, Hero calls 5.48 BB

Flop: (16.96 BB, 2 players) 5 9 8
SB bets 5.98 BB, Hero calls 5.98 BB

Turn: (28.92 BB, 2 players) A
SB bets 13 BB, Hero calls 13 BB

River: (54.92 BB, 2 players) K
SB bets 50 BB, Hero?

His line looks silly, but his river sizing is a bit scary. Can I make the call?

Thanks for any help!

Any merit to raising the turn?

You know... trust your instincts and call.

Edit: usually these psb are for value

I think raising flop is a cool play go get folds from over cards and you have some equity if he calls.
AP-I would fold river but seems close.

I think you have enough SD value to check back here. But I might be mistaken.

Raising the flop here... dunno about that. I wouldn't do it with this hand. But I can be convinced otherwise.
It's certainly a reasonable move.

Yes, I actually like raising the flop.

+1 to H3isenberg.

PF: Probably just fold against an unknown
Flop: fine, I like calling here and using position rather than a raise but raising here is fine
Turn: It's a good card for your hand but a better card for villains' range. I don't see any other way to play this street
River: I don't think you're good often enough to call this. Villain would need to 3 barreling air for you to be good and absent a read I'm not sure he does this, I think he shows up with Ax here often enough for you to fold

Oops: I misread the hand again: I thought villain was checking the river. Now it's an easy fold I think.
