50NL - waay to tight? 50NL - waay to tight?

Some info, we've been at the table for 156 hands..

Villain is 16/14/2 - 0% 3bet fwiw.. He's been straight forward and seems like a standard 'nit-reg' (can't look him up at PTR atm for more info, anyone else have that problem right now? can't find myself either)

I've played pretty nitty over those 156 hands aswell, and have only been to showdown with strong hands..

Hand is played on Stars.

No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Button ($93.45)
SB ($50.25)
BB ($111.45)
Villain ($50)
Hero (MP) ($50.95)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K, A
Villain bets $1.50, Hero raises to $5, 3 folds, Villain raises to $17, Hero folds

Total pot: $10.75

These situations I usually call and are ready to stack off on any Kxx/Axx/(combo)draws flop or push pre-flop if I don't have any reason to be suspicious (like against this kind of players)..

But against these "nits", it seems their range is only QQ/KK/AA/AKs and sometimes AKo..

So who's the nit in this hand, me or him?

if his range is wat u give him then u shud shove. I personally am happy folding.

You should not flat here and fold when an ace or king doesnt hit

If i had been playing nitty, and a tight reg opened, i would just flat PF, their PF get it in range is already tight, especially from MP, so unless you have a read that they like to flat 3bets oop, your not really gaining anything by 3betting.

That's a small sample size, and 16/14 is not as nitty as some other's I've seen. Plus you've got A and K blockers.

just correct me if i'm wrong (never been a math-wiz when it comes to this) but if I always shove here, and my read/handrange on him is correct we have the same hand everytime (I would never shove anything worse than QQ/AK here), and the rake would end up as the winner?

If you're not prepared to get it in over a 4-bet, you probably shouldn't be reraising in the first place.

As played, you're 40% vs QQ+,AK and there's a lot of dead money in the pot, so stick the rest in.

AK is very strong in this situation w/ the dead money that I'd be very happy to get it in PF.

In all seriousness I think we should fold

Why would we shove? It's coinflip at best surely?
