MP is 56/0/0 in 9 hands. 43/11/0 in 40 hands. Got to be kind of an odd spot. Figured I'd take a stab with all my equity. Now just call the raise and see what MP does and what develops on the turn? His min C/R seems strong, though kind of a dangerous board to check for him as it could turn ugly quick. Thoughts on this spot and play as a whole are appreciated, thanks.

BTN: 58.5 BB
SB: 96.42 BB
BB: 100 BB
Hero (UTG): 132.92 BB
MP: 59.44 BB
CO: 149.6 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q A

Hero raises to 3 BB, MP calls 3 BB, fold, fold, SB raises to 5 BB, fold, Hero calls 2 BB, MP calls 2 BB

Flop: (16 BB, 3 players) T J Q
SB checks, Hero bets 10 BB, MP calls 10 BB, SB raises to 20 BB, Hero?

I would 4b pre to kick MP out of the pot
Just jam flop you have 12nut outs so at least 45% of equity when money goes in and these idiots will stack off with one pair or weak two pairs so it becomes jam for value.

I thought about it, but then figured I'd call and let MP come along, even though I'm OOP to him I didn't think it was bad to have a loose fish in the pot as well. Not sure what the better decision is.

4b is better since even though your hand is quite strong it doesnt dominate enough of villains trashy hands the way KK or AA would so getting them to fold atc is a fine result

I also 4bet although getting a cheap flop is always tempting

I'm not betting this flop loads of equity but if the SB has a tight range then you are not in great shape, a CR is pretty inevitable and I'd be amazed if you have any fold equity at all

Just jam flop, even against an insane nit with AKss we still have 40%, so against two broken stacks and the stuff pre and flop were happy gii

Thanks! I'm getting back into poker after a long time out. The poker books I was last studying back in the day didn't even have the word range in them haha. But I've been enjoying getting back into the game and learning all kinds of new things every day. I appreciated everyone's feedback here, it's been very helpful.

Didn't consider the gutshot when I wrote this. Disregard, the money's going in whatever happens, probably 3 way
