Don't have HH.. and no reads on this player as he has just sat down but I have seen him around before. Haven't seen anything crazy and we havent been in any big pots together.

Effective stacks are 100BB's.

Hero is in MP with A10

Pre Flop

1 fold, Hero raises to $1.50, CO calls $1.50, 2 folds, BB calls $1.00

Flop A 10 2(Pot ~4)

BB checks, Hero bets $3.00, CO calls $3.00, 1 fold

Turn 6(Pot ~10)

Hero checks, CO bets $8.00, Hero calls $8.00

River 6(Pot ~23)

Hero checks, CO bets $32.41 (AI), Hero calls $32.41 (AI)

I didn't bet turn cause I don't think i get 3 streets of value from weaker aces, AJ/AQ/10x.

I was planning on c/r river but he overbet shoves and i block 1010, and i don't see and backdoor 6's in his range?

bet turn for value, and shove yourself on the river

I wouldve bet turn as my default but this seems fine as is too, especially if you dont think you can get value from weaker aces by just betting.

His river bet would really make me considering folding. I know he really only reps 1010, 22, A6 and maybe 66 but I dont think overbets on the river are bluffs very often at this level.

Now with that said, Id probably end up calling river anyway since I like to talk myself into calling.

not folding as played. he's repping very thin and your line looks weak.

also i doubt most people would fold AJ+ to a multiple barrels on this board runout.

easy call

his river sizing w/ 22 or TT would be ******ed

Def. bet turn yourself vs an unknown.
Checking here is costing you a lot of value imo, unless villains floats
this board very often.

As played, def. call river. Your range looks quite imo, so villain should be vbetting a ton here.

River is a call here as we've under-repped our hand. You don't think you can get 3 streets of value. How do you know this? You are readless against villian. He could be a calling station for all you know. I'd rather fire turn and c/c river than take this line against unknown.

You're definitely missing value vs AQ/AJ on the turn by checking. Even if you don't get 3 streets all the time, it's better to get the second street of value on the turn than the river, and an unknown is calling down with AQ/AJ at least occasionally. I don't think it's a good idea to assume that he floats the flop with air often enough to make bluffcatching better than value betting, esp with BB still in the hand.

On the river I really think he has 22 but I'd have a hard time clicking fold in real time.

Given ur line, villain can definitely think AJ is the nuts when you cc turn, ch river. He also could just read you as weak. So few combos beat you, and you set yourself up to be bluffed. Call.

i also wouldn't discount like KQ/KJ type hands that float the flop and fire the turn that we can get some value, i mean i think when i take this line on a such a dry flop and we check turn it looks like we are giving up so much and a range is perceived to be super weak so thats why i took this line..but i also the merits for betting the turn

fwiw villain had 22

This is true, but it doesn't sound like you have a read suggesting he's going to try and float Ahi boards and barrel you off. This is a line you'd take against a reg v whom you have history, so I would bet the turn, imo.

There is so much value to be had on the turn with a bet.
Would it better to bet turn, and b/f river?

played hand fine imo, i like the line cause AJ/AQ is going to think they're good and you can have villian spaz out with a random ten or other junk
