Party Poker $50.00 No Limit Hold'em - 7 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter By DeucesCracked Poker Videos

Hero (BTN): $55.33
SB: $37.58
BB: $18.00
UTG: $32.02
UTG+1: $66.53
MP: $64.27
CO: $48.75

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BTN with 7 A
2 folds, MP raises to $2, 1 fold, Hero raises to $6, 2 folds, MP raises to $14, Hero raises to $55.33,

Villain is 12/10 with a fold to 3bet of 86%

I was 3beting him a ton before this hand happened trying to exploit his fold tendency.

I'm always folding to a 4bet here, but in another table, exactly at the same time, I also 3beted him and he 4beted (I folded). And now he his 4beting me again!

This really looked like a re-steal from someone who is just tired of being pushed around, so I decided to 5bet shove.

I though this hand was a good one to do it with since I have a blocker and ~30% equity to anything other than AA.

What do you guys think of my line?

Thanks

I hate it.

Not a big fan. If you had a read that he was making a move BTN vs. Blinds, I could see a 5 bet, but a MP2 4-bet usually indicates a really strong hand or at least a hand that can't really fold after 4-betting here.

i think this is a little too loose to ship all in. if hes playing back at you, tighten up your range and take advantage of him

+1

You've made him adjust, now you need to adjust back and value town him, rather than continue to hit him light.

Do some math and see how often this needs to work and realize that this isn't good at all against most players.

When a 12/10 who folds to 3bets 86% of the time 4bets you, it's probably not a good idea to stick around.

I'd rather 5bet to $28 and call a shove than do this. It's more convincing that you have AA/KK.

The most convincing way of having AA/KK is exactly this imo. I'm never 5beting half of my stack. 100bbs, 5bet = shove

so much better if you're deeper.

this guy is really out of line. I'd like to really own him by 7 bet bluffing when he inevitably 6bet bluffs me following this raise.

ive done that math a few a days ago. and even against the most aggro 100nl regs (in my database) my ev would be 4bb's everytime i 5bet shove. this is also co vs btn btn vs blind.

Do this with a hand like 87s or 33. at least you'll have about 27% eq when called. also wat others said, tighten up and do it with a premo hand. your leveling yourself into stacking off light when u should be leveling villian to be stacking off light.
