Though this is a specific hand, where SB is 15/8/5 in 60 hands and a broken stacked rec, in general are JJ always a get it in vs the blinds from the button? I know in GTO World they are, and I guess against maybe the most extreme tight players they aren't, but in general I'm just curious what others think, thanks.

Hero (BTN): 124.28 BB
SB: 84.9 BB
BB: 127.44 BB
CO: 119.52 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has J

fold, Hero raises to 2.5 BB, SB raises to 9 BB, fold, Hero?

um call? we’re on the button, idk why we have to 4b jam and “get it in” every time the blinds 3bet

I think getting JJ all in pre is generally pretty bad unless we have good reason to do otherwise. SB's range is just way stronger than gtowizard thinks it should be. Most players also won't do things like jam over the top with A5s or TT

It depends also are vs SB or BB. SB 3b range is liner so by 4b we fold out more equity and we force him to call with hands like 77. I would 4b more hands like TT-QQ vs SB then BB.
In general 4b/call will be fine in this spot, even if we have low EV when we face jam. That only means we wont face jam that often.

i think a lot of analysis here is on SB dynamic vs BTN which is fair but this guy is a short stacked, seemingly tight rec.

situations like these seem much more profitable when we proceed, in position, vs someone who will make mistakes post
