Hero bets $5.25, UTG+1 raises to $12.50 - Probably had too little info to even bluff pre, but do I fold here or check fold turn? I think I might have odds to call for a 2nd pair or myb trips on turn with the implied odds of our 120bb stacks

sorry but just fold pre. the idea of 3betting someone in position is that he either folds a lot and so your 3bet in itself is profitable or that he calls you with worse. Sample size here is just not significant enough to draw any conclusion and doing it OOP makes it even worse. Also your 3bet size could be a little bigger OOP IMO but I would not 3bet here with this kinda of a hand.

As played...easy fold on the flop IMO. Especially since we are OOP.

And by the way...drawing the conclusion that villain is not positionally aware just from a 40 hand sample size is a little thin too.

you are in blinds 3betting an UTG +1 player w/ tqo.... this is pretty bad man. you aren't last to act pre or postflop and your hand is very bad and suffers from revers implied odds. generally you dont want to be bluffing UTG+1 from the blinds unless it is a very opportunistic squeeze spot or if it is for value. just fold and save money imo

This sucks big style. Was going to say something about picking better hands to 3bet bluff with but theres not much point because we are never doing this as a bluff against an EP raise.

I like this if the villian is in late postion.

here its complete spew with a 40 hand sample and him having a full stack and stats that could easily belong to a 12/10.

edit: also in 40 hands you've determined positional awareness. idk about that unless you have a note you didnt post

besides all of the very valid reasons laid out in the thread...if you don't know how to play Qxx or Txx, you shouldn't be 3betting it (barring the really awkward QsJs9c or w/e)

Check your database to see how low the fold to 3bet stat is on average especially against a resteal. 3betting pre OOP with QTo against an unknown is total spew. I might do it if I had 1000+ hands with villain and he had a fold to resteal of over 70%.
