Not exactly sure how you are safely assuming our opponent has "no idea about how this spot should play out" unless you have some stats showing he over-barrels. Nothing they are doing is out of line, yes the flop and turn should have a somewhat high checking frequency, but it's not like they should never betting 50% pot here.
yeah i dont really have a donking range.
both flop and turn should lean towards bigger bet sizes. im assuming he is lost since he doing some weird smaller sizings.
it’s isnt just this spot, theres plently where its like co vs btn flat on a lower board or 3bet pots oop where people over cbet and barrel. (on certain boards obv)
it’s like people bet because they wont know what do to vs a bet with their hand. and people dont raise enough in alot of situations.
i know it sounds a little vague but i hope you can see where im coming from.
