BTN: 112.72 BB
SB: 271.16 BB
Hero (BB): 211.06 BB
UTG: 141.1 BB
MP: 141.24 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has J A

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to 2.5 BB, fold, Hero calls 1.5 BB

Flop: (5.5 BB, 2 players) 6 3 8
Hero checks, BTN bets 2.62 BB, Hero calls 2.62 BB

Turn: (10.74 BB, 2 players) 6
Hero checks, BTN bets 5.62 BB, Hero raises to 19 BB

basically what do you think of this play? I like it because I dont block alot of his bluffs and also I have more 6s.

When we identify spots where our opponent should check alot and they bet, do we have permission to go crazy? Because I think we can safely assume they have no idea about how this spot should play out and we can punish them for it.

I think I’d just call.

Agree with just call.

We have so many more better bluff raises to choose from here.

I also think this can be a turn in which we can have a small donking range, but if you are not incorporating donks, no problem.

Not exactly sure how you are safely assuming our opponent has "no idea about how this spot should play out" unless you have some stats showing he over-barrels. Nothing they are doing is out of line, yes the flop and turn should have a somewhat high checking frequency, but it's not like they should never betting 50% pot here.

yeah i dont really have a donking range.

both flop and turn should lean towards bigger bet sizes. im assuming he is lost since he doing some weird smaller sizings.

it’s isnt just this spot, theres plently where its like co vs btn flat on a lower board or 3bet pots oop where people over cbet and barrel. (on certain boards obv)

it’s like people bet because they wont know what do to vs a bet with their hand. and people dont raise enough in alot of situations.

i know it sounds a little vague but i hope you can see where im coming from.
