Villain is rather loose and aggressive, 36/24/10 in 750 hands. He's 2/2 in folding to 4 bets so far. His call caps his range and I'd have the range advantage on this board. Thoughts on the play as a whole are appreciated, thanks.

SB: 159.3 BB
BB: 109.3 BB
Hero (UTG): 105.08 BB
CO: 87.2 BB
BTN: 100.5 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A T

Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, BTN raises to 9 BB, fold, fold, Hero raises to 24 BB, BTN calls 15 BB

Flop: (49.5 BB, 2 players) K Q 4
Hero bets 15 BB, BTN calls 15 BB

Turn: (79.5 BB, 2 players) 6
Hero bets 66.08 BB and is all-in

Welp, would have waited for the river to shove. 6 of spades doesn't change much. If the villain thought he was ahead on the flop then he's gonna think he's ahead on this turn. I don't like bluff shoving on blanks for that reason alone plus there's also a lot better hands we could choose to be bluffing with. -EV play imo.

I would typically just fold pre, ATo is not in my 4bet bluffing range here.

AP I would probably bet smaller OTF (like 20%ish) with most of range

OTT I really don't like jamming, I think we would just want to bet pretty small again. Since we do have such a range advantage, betting small puts villains range in a shitty spot (especially if he isn't flatting hands like AA or QQ at some frequency pre). A small bet folds out pretty much all the under-pairs villain had in his range and puts hands like AJs, ATs and even some AQs in a tough spot. The thing is when you jam turn here villain has a fairly obvious play, fold all underpairs, AQo, ATs, AJs, etc and call AKo, AA, KQs, QQ, and maybe some frequency of AJs and AQs w a FD.

Depending on the runout OTR we can make some fairly easy decisions on whether or not we give up or jam after double barreling small.

Fold pre and not close. Sizing for a board like this is way too big, I'd go 10bb, 20bb, jam river.

What hands do you have in your 4bet bluffing range here? AJs, ATs, KQs type hands? Thanks-

IMO those mentioned are too strong, ajo rather, i m ok with ato, issue is that villain may sometimes flat hands where ato is flipping and continue vs 4bet only with stuff like SC's and better bradways, so he is never dominated, but if you are not in anon tables you can check if villain have btn flatting range, if you are against like 13% 3bet with no cold calling range i think ato is pure fold or mostly folding and rarely 4betting

your range composition should be a bit different depending whether the field is flatting your 4bets at the correct frequencies so that playability starts to matter, or playing mainly jam or fold

all those hands you listed mix in 4bets in gto land

OK thanks. I have such a small sample on him, but he was 3 betting a lot and folded 2/2 times to 4 bets. Obviously a tiny sample.
