Wouldn't a line like c/c, and c/rai on a safe/blank turn card but c/f on a scare card be best here?
I don't know that there is a consensus.

I think this is a small pot hand. Let's assume that the villain isn't an idiot (he seems TAG or possibly SLAGGY). If he's at all positionally aware he's not likely to have A2 here. If we assume he has the higher end of his aces here, we're ahead of ONE hand. I'm happy to get to the river with small-medium pot.

I don't know why I'd be c/rai on a safe/blank turn. There's a wide range of hands beating us that aren't going to fold.

w.r.t to this part if the PFR only ever called with AA and folded all other of his pfr range the squeeze would be profitable , yes?

Actually I'm not sure if it is but highly suspect it to be with the dead money and I doubt the ccallers dominate us.

i do concede it's high variance though

its not just the 3bet caling ranges that make a 3bet suck IMO its our pos if that call which given the stats is likely IMO, and the fact that we are pretty much praying for a fold if we squeeze (ie pick up that dead money) cause I dont know about everyone else but im not really sure how to play this hand OOP for 3bets when there arent many flops im gonna be to happy with. not to mention we prob have to fold to a 4 bet which it pretty much just wasting $.

I agree that a sqeeze in itself if prob +ev but doing it with AQ isnt all that great IMO. just do it with bluffs if you want to.

my aq is never good in this spot vs this many opponents. raise preflop and steal the pot.

ok your making my point though why do that with AQ? and not with 72? AQ actully has some post flop value in this spot.

What about flat calling the flop bet and then turn-donking like 1/2-pot, ~10ish. Obv fold to further agression. Thouhgts ?
