Villain is pretty aggro. I see him min raise VERY often and has sometimes had it, sometimes not.

He is 57/16 over 37 hands with 15% 3b and sees the river 72% of the time. He has shown he likes any Ax hand.

My line:

I thought if I checked here on the flop it did two things, created the illusion he could get me off the hand on future streets by being aggressive and he would likely bet.

The turn IMO didn't change much.

The river, I faced the stupid min-raise and wasn't sure but figured %-wise I should be calling more often than folding in that spot.

I think that vs this villain we should just be betting all 3 streets with a hand this strong(especially given his preference for Ax hands)

As played you're obliged to call river

Flop X is so bad, why X this hand when u can get 3 streets of value? You just throw $$ away by checking.

River is obvious.

To mix it up, the flop check is OK, he is so aggressive that you have good chances he will try to steal the pot.
But you will have always to bet the turn in this spot, you gave him infinite odds to draw you out.

River call is a must since he can't be sure, that you hold the ace and will raise A with bad kicker.

No it's not ok.

He's a fish that will call down 3 streets with worse Ax.

If he's aggro enough then you can XC down worse AX that you couldn't bet 3 streets with.

I respect your opinion Yoshi.

I'll take it into great consideration.

My thoughts have always been reversed. Trying to trap aggro fish into doing their aggro tendencies but it makes sense with stronger hand to try to 3 street value them as they will likely call down.

What's your thoughts if he was to min-raise the flop. Calling and check/call the turn? Check/call the river. On this board solely is the question, I know other boards change future street decision making.

Why not 3bet river? I see villain with these states calling a lot of worse aces.

Flop check is criminal. Just bomb it 3 streets, any other line is suboptimal.

Bet, bet, bet ainec.

You even stated your OP; he min raises a lot, likes any AX hand and sees the river 72% of the time. One of the clearest cases for betting big on three streets you'll see.
