50NL - A2s Bluff

OK this was a bit of an odd one. It's the BB's very first hand. Button is 24/20/10 over a few thousand hands. Loves to 3 bet but typically plays fit or fold and pretty straight forward in 3 bet pots especially multiway. My thoughts were I certainly can have hands like KQs, 99, 67, 78s here, and I block AK. Thoughts on the whole hand are appreciated, thanks.

Hero (CO): 100 BB
BTN: 108.6 BB
SB: 212.18 BB
BB: 100 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 2 A

Hero raises to 2.5 BB, BTN raises to 9 BB, fold, BB calls 8 BB, Hero calls 6.5 BB

Flop: (27.5 BB, 3 players) 7 K 7
BB checks, Hero checks, BTN checks

Turn: (27.5 BB, 3 players) 9
BB checks, Hero bets 20 BB, BTN calls 20 BB, fold

River: (67.5 BB, 2 players) 8
Hero bets 71 BB and is all-in

Yeah I wasn't totally sure. I ran an average 3 bet range for the button and rough guessed what the BB would be just calling with here, and had around 28% equity. I'm OOP against the 3 bettor, but getting 3.25:1 on my call having position on the weaker player I didn't think it was too out of line to call it. Maybe I'm wrong though.

the problem is that it's tough to realize your equity, especially OOP and multi-way.

For preflop stuff, I always just look at gtowizard and play a bit tighter than that

Thanks. I've seen some things about GTO Wizard but don't know much about it. Is that a solver, or something more to help with PF decisions? Just curious since I haven't gone down any GTO program or tool roads yet.

It’s interactive solver solutions on your browser. Preflop is free

Re: 50NL - A2s Bluff

Flop pre-flop.

Obviously if BB didn't cold call you would 4bet the BTN giving reads you gave.

As played after calling I like turn bet obviously.

Regarding jam on river - BTN could be getting sticking on turn with QQ, JJ, TT. And you are repping a lot. You can throw JTss into the range you mentioned above.

But he can easy have QKss. Do you think he would fold it?

I would check back river but I'm nitty. :-D

Some chance he checks back a worse draw.

Thanks for the rundown. Definitely would've 4 bet if BB didn't come along. I've been working on spots to fight a bit more for pots and once I was in this one and the board ran out as it did I figured I'd battle for this one.
