Villain is a 50nl deep tables reg, not enough stats but was ~25/20

He's sort of fishy, prob not beating the games, kinda weakish but does weird spazzy stuff sometimes, these are just my impressions, I have no notes on him. No history that I remember of.

What do you do on the river? Thanks.

I think your hand is a little too strong to fold there, I probably would've checked called. The backdoor straight is somewhat deceptive, and he could certainly value bet worse there, or 3-barrel some of his under pairs or small suited connecters as bluffs. I'm guessing you were trying to get value from AK+ that would check behind that river a lot, but could call a bet. However I would hate to get bluffed off of the best hand here, or get raised and call with the worst hand when we could've shown down for cheaper.

Call river when you lead $7[$18.95]....

But lead it bigger and lead/fold (line is only okay because you said villain was bad).

C/c is usually the best line.

"does weird spazzy stuff sometimes"

Except I wouldn't really ever lead this spot.

yeah I guess c/c is best
thought he was fishy enough, but he's been around for a while, surely he's learned to fold in these spots
with the flush completing and all, c/c is def better
alright thanks guys, appreciate it

seems you are targeting 2pr+sets w/ your sizing

if so its good because he is more likely to call a small bet than vb those himself, imo

fold river

edit: i wouldnt really put a lot of weight into your reads if its a small sample. if his spazzes were vs other people he may have reads on them etc. in other words to c/c river hoping he is 3 barreling you seems very optimistic.

c/c turn is pretty standard he barrels any decent draw on the turn, which is correct because I just called a tiny open pre, I can never have a big king
I obv lead river to get value from 22,99,KT,KQ,maybe AK
shouldn't be in this spot tho, he could interpret my bet as a blocker and go for a value raise with a straight, maybe try something funky with the flush completing, like turning a hand into a bluff, a lot of assuming especially as I know nothing of his river plays, he's prob got a flush tho
c/c river it is
