from wynn 5/10 uncapped.

Hand 1

Villain is a huge spew monkey who exclusively bets roughly pot; pots it preflop every time it is limped to him, and bets pot postflop most of the time it is checked to him. Previous history is I took a hit and was shortstacked with only 400. A few people limp in, I limp with 77, villain is in HJ or BU and raises to 80, I shove, he calls with 67o and hits a flush.

After I reload and change seats this hand happens.

Effective stacks 1500

After a seat change I'm in BB with direct position on villain. I have 88. 3 people limp, villain raises to 60, I call with 88, 2 others call, 1 fold.

Flop (240): 3 10 j r
Checked around

Turn (240): 8 completing rainbow
Villain checks, I bet 130, folded to villain raises to 500.

Thoughts here on flat calling vs raising. I have slightly less than a pot-sized bet left if I call, so if I shove I think he'd call with AJ+/most draws and obviously fold air. However, based on previous history, villain is likely to be full of sh*t or could have a hand like 99, 89, or 910. I don't think he would check the flop with a set of 10s or j's - even bad lags know to lead with their monsters. I also think there's a good chance he will go all in on the river if I flat call here since he would read me as weak. Do I flat call here and hope he fires on the river, or just ship it in now?

Hand 2

I'm sitting with 2000, just sat down and bought in. Table is sitting very deep. This is the first hand I've been dealt.

Effective stacks 2000.

Some old guy opens UTG +2 to 50, 4 callers, I call in the BB with 8c9c.

Flop (300):
567r with one club

I checked, mostly because of a live tell that the preflop raiser really liked his hand and would fire if I checked. Question 1: is that all the more reason to lead out here? Anyway, the PFR did bet 250, folded to some young asian kid who minraises to 500.

Question 2: call, 3 bet or push?

the first hand is the easiest jam ever

the second one is a jam now too, but whether or not you lead out depends on the tendencies of these players and the position of the raiser relative to you

moral of the story is shove both, esp 1 because it doesnt seem like this guy is even folding AK

well he gave the positions in hand 2 I assume u are saying not to lead here, since u have relative position on utg, and dont want him to raise and shut out the field?
