Deep and stuck for the day, great combination. Is this a snap call? (and I'm playing scared?) or is there consideration for 99 and AK here? Pool is under 3betting, massively under 4betting. Villain is reggish but losing a good clip on my tables over 4k hands (-30bb/100). However, despite this he doesn't seem to show down garbage and is a thinking player. Really just wondering if you guys are snapping this off or tanking a bit...

Seems good. AK jams preflop so you split a lot and he can have hands like this + FDs.

Feels like I've been leveling myself lately.

Same villain bluffed me off a pot with 97s on 86473 board/runout when I had top set just a few hands before

TPGK in a 4bet pot, not sure what else we can do besides call it off after we bet otf. Villain has zero bluffs here so you're calling for a chop imo.

Not sure why we didn't go bigger pre since we are deeper, and I'm honestly not 100% on board with 4betting this hand. Feel like we have worse hands (AJo, for example) with which to do that.

Given your pop read, it's probably slightly leaning fold. I think the best you're looking for here is splits and a badly played flush draw. But again, given reads I think AK range increases, and draw range decreases. 99 is def in play as well. Given the stack sizes, doesn't make sense to call off w/ AQ.

I just looked at results and read comments above. So people really think someone at 25nl is over playing AJ deep? I'm kind of scratching my head honestly, because this really doesn't fit a lot of the past comments in here.

I wouldn't call it off without knowing that the SB is bad enough to play this way. I could go either way between 4b or call pre against the small size.

It’s tougher when we’re this deep, but I think regfish are def inclined to just rip AK most of the time pre. They also don’t 3b A9/A3 often and might not with 99 much either. Really 99 would be the hand I’m most worried about, but 3 combos at best and it could be closer to 1.5

But if you didn’t know they were a regfish prior to the showdown it’s tougher as played. It can be hard to tell with people with the ~23/18/8 stats bc they could either be pretty solid, or they just looked at some opening and IP/SB 3bet range charts and are clueless everywhere else. But even those types can vary between being extremely nitty or just never folding top pair or an overpair
