Villain in this hand is uber-passive. His VPIP is 80%, PFR is only 4%, and his aggression numbers are also low. I have never seen him raise without the nuts or close to it, and have never seen him limp reraise. I have played with him before; tonight we played for a good 3 hours, with this hand coming at about the 2:30 mark.

That said, he is also a ******. Tonight he checked a turned straight second to last to act in a 4 way limped pot. In another hand I raised his button limp with KJo in the small blind, bet the flop with middle pair, then checked and called the turn and river. He bet both the turn and river with 5 high, no draw.

For what it's worth, he ran hotter than a two dollar pistol today.

Given your donkish description and your passive play I would call.

you called pre hoping to spike a set and you didn't, why pay more?
albeit river doesn't change anything so if you call turn, you have to call river so fold imho

this is a standard fish line for aces obv. They love to c/r the flop for some reason.

I'm confused by this too. When I called preflop, I wasn't thinking "setmine," I was thinking that I might well have the best hand.

HE are you saying that I SHOULD call the river IF I called the turn, and therefore should have mucked the turn?
