Villain is 20/4 over 399 hands, 71% fold to cbet, 20% steal, 24% W$SD

I'd appreciate it if you could tell me how you would have handled the hand. Is it better to just cold call here and play a smaller pot. Just fold? He has a pretty low pfr although his steal % is decent. I guess I cbet real large to represent an overpair, but maybe I should have cbet less? I feel like these days a lot of players are peeling one street with a wider range once they cold call a 3bet IP, and I am wondering if it is just best to play tight oop in the blinds and not bloat the pot with a middlish type hand like KQ even though you think the stealer may have a wide range. Interesting spot.

Thanks.

eh 20% isnt that high and he is opening only 4% on average, i just fold it OOP

i call here vs looser regs that steal a ton, i 3bet here for value vs people who never fold to 3bets and open pretty wide.

Cbet is too high, i dont know if i am loving a Cbet on that board in the first place tbh unless you are planning to double barrel a lot and that is really expensive in 3bet pots.

fold pre. opening 4% total is hugely nitty, and as stated, 20% ATS isn't all that high.

don't cbet flop. villain's continuing range has you crushed, and it's a pretty terribad flop to cbet OOP.

You can flat pre, but do not 3bet KQ here, villain's calling range has you crushed and oop.

I call PF if he plays straight forward postflop and go from there.

Would also flat pre if was playing this, then c/f on this flop.

Would only 3 bet this vs regs who steal alot, and then would c/f this flop as well if called. 3bet raise to $5 or $5.50 would be better

KQo is in good shape against a 20% ATS range so playing is good.

Not what I'm talking about, that is why calling is ok. The reason we don't want to 3bet is because he is not calling the 3bet with that entire 20% range, the range for calling the 3bet is much smaller, including hands like AK, AQ, QQ, KK that have us crushed.

Playing the KQ pf is fine, 3-betting it is way too loose, we don't have nearly enough fold equity to make up for all the times he calls and has us crushed (probably 100% of his calls) and we're OOP.
