Hi all !
My cbet on flop was bad?

iPoker - €0.02 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager 3

MP: €2.27 (113.5 bb)
CO: €2.52 (126 bb)
BTN: €1.78 (89 bb)
Hero (SB): €2.00 (100 bb)
BB: €3.22 (161 bb)
UTG: €3.89 (194.5 bb)

Hero posts SB €0.01, BB posts €0.02

Pre Flop: (pot: €0.03) Hero has A

3 folds, BTN raises to €0.05, Hero raises to €0.22, fold, BTN calls €0.17

Flop: (€0.46, 2 players) 7

Hero bets €0.11, BTN raises to €0.39, Hero folds

Results: €0.68 pot (€0.04 rake)
Final Board: 7

BTN wins €0.64

I think its alright as played, depending on the villain. This board is very dry and you have the range advantage. Folding to an IP raise is alright too, although there arent many strong hands in the villains range, there arent many natural bluffs either and i dont think that ace high is good enough to bluffcatch on this board.

Do you mean as a mixed strategy or what factors would you consider without player reads? I understand that you should cbet more frequently when 3betting from blinds vs later position because their call range will be wider, so I would think just simplifying to cbet 100% of the time would be fine at 2nl - 10nl?

I think it's a 100% cbet board. Can even bet larger.

Plus, even if it wasn't, simplifying to 100% isn't going to cost enough EV to care.

Ace-highs like to check, especially AK and AQ when they miss, since this is NL2, I like the sizing but maybe a bit larger in higher stakes, maybe bet around 50% of the time you should bet this hand
