I wasn't confident in my line here if i'm honest. I felt that when villain called my check raise i was left in a dilemma on how to size my turn bet..

If villain raises we have already invested a lot of bb's
If he calls and river bricks do we shove? check call?

Please critique..

Villain is unknown

Why are you trying to build a huge pot with TP?

I hate the flop raise and turn size.
Wonder what others think.

I would x/c flop and turn and then only bet river if there was no action.

I am working on taking different lines than i usually do, by basically upping my aggression. I believe i have range advantage in this spot, so i attacked his small bet.. I also believe the size i chose put me in a shitty spot in terms of SPR..

If you took this line, what size would you choose for check raise?

Are you check calling vs most sizes? what if villain block bets a brick river? do you fold?

Don't think your hand is good enough to go for a X/r here. Board is fairly dry, so villain won't show up with many draws after calling the raise. I think if you bet turn after the X/r, you're getting folds out of just about every worse hand villain can have, except maybe QT.

I think if you want to X/r, you have to be a little more polarised. Don't know if I'd X/r KQ, but AQ is probably fine I reckon.

If you feel villain is betting too much otf, this hand functions much better as a call, like that you will get to the turn with a much stronger range than villain. And if you feel villain is betting too frequently, the best counter will be to bluff more (and you have a lot of potential bluffs here) and to call a bit lighter with your medium strength hands, which this is.

Your flop sizing is fine, but if you go to 25bb, then you have an spr around 1 ott, so I prefer that. But you need to be more polarised I reckon. The turn sizing isn't great, because you're leaving yourself with an under 1/3 PSB OTR if called. In any case, this won't be great, but with very few good draws available, I imagine there will be virtually no scenario where villain calls turn to fold river to a jam. As played, if you want to bet turn (and I don't think your hand is good enough to), I'd go for something under 1/3 pot, maybe 15bb.

As played, I think you'd be better off going for a X/c ott, and probably as well OTR. Your hand is a bluff catcher after the flop raise, so give villain the opportunity to bluff. Overall, avoid the headache and call flop I'd say.

Thanks for taking the time to post such a detailed reply. I will try to implement your advice moving forward
