Villain is 25/25 after 4 hands..

PokerStars - $0.02 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 69 BB
SB: 86.5 BB
BB: 108.5 BB
Hero (UTG): 104.5 BB
MP: 138.5 BB
CO: 170 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8 8

Hero raises to 2.5 BB, fold, CO raises to 8.5 BB, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls 6 BB

Whats our range for calling 3bets in this spot vs unknowns?

Flop: (18.5 BB, 2 players) 6 T 2
Hero checks, CO bets 6 BB, Hero calls 6 BB

Dry board that doesn't particually favour villain. I guess check / call is the line at an high %?

Turn: (30.5 BB, 2 players) J
Hero checks, CO checks

River: (30.5 BB, 2 players) T
Hero checks, CO bets 24.5 BB, Hero calls 24.5 BB

What line do you opt for here? block bet or check call?

Am i a fish for calling here? i didn't think villains line made much sense here, and with this bet size in particular it screamed to me that he didnt want a call...

Please critique ..

It depends on what range we open on UTG.
We usually need to defend around 40-45% of our range on UTG to avoid being exploited.
You can use GTO Wiz preflop ranges, but I don't think we should fold medium pockets and use low ones so much on micro.
Spoiler:

I would also avoid the low 76s-54s connectors towards ATs-KTs, QJs, especially OOP.
This is because the average 3bet frequencies at micro are lower than at higher stakes.

In any case, it's a good idea to spend a few hours validating your default preflop model.
It doesn’t matter if you develop it yourself or take ready-made ones from available sources.

It is important that you have starting points from which you can deviate depending on the players at your table.

Yes, Villain has no advantage on this board and we can defend by MDF with any Pair+ and Overcads+bdfd.

It's worth noting that Villain on this board should be more likely to play from a polar Cbet with large sizing.

Turn
After Villain checks the turn, we can discount the nuts in his range.
Spoiler:

River
On the river Villain's range contains a huge amount of nomade hands in his range (61%).
This is a great opportunity for a bluff.
Against a pot bet, we need Villain to fold more than 50% for a profitable bluff.
Therefore, a bet with any hand is better than a check/fold.

Specifically, our hand has equity and against an aggressive opponent, we can use it as a bluff catcher.
But against an unknown opponent, I would choose a block bet 1/3-1/2 of the pot to prevent my opponent from choosing his own sizing.
We will get raises only from sets (8%) and maybe we can get some hero calls from Ahi against our low sizing.

Another awesome response.

I'll take all this on board.
