Very easy fold, i might even fold flop lol.
V is prolly just calling IP with draws or 1 pair hands so the raise is very strong.

I would go for ~60% otf here and fold if he raises. If he calls I fire ott as well, same sizing and fold to raise. Check-fold river.

Folding flop is super exploitable, your cbet size should make V widen his raising range. Its still the best play vs villains who just dont adjust and only raise sets and super strong draws in that spot.

Could consider folding pre on some tables.

Thank you very much for the advice I really appreciate it !

My thought process was the following:

I opened KJo from MP following this chart.

To be honest I'm not quite sure what the CO and SB vs MP call range would be but I figured it would be something like 99-44, KTs, QJs-QTs, AQo-AJo, A5s-A2s, KQo with their stronger hands being 3betted.

When the flop came 5K2 I figured it would be wise to bet 33% as a thin value/protection bet since I think I win here most of the time with top pair but there are too many turns and rivers I really don't want to see like a diamond, 2, 3 or an ace.

Facing the raise from CO I started getting some doubts about my hand but I thought KJo is just too strong to fold in that spot so I could pay one street and play turn and river carefully.

Turn comes a T which doesn't really completes any draw so I thought I could play x/c up to a 66% bet in that spot very comfortable.

The river comes 7 which is a terrible card for us since it completes the flush draw and I just decided to play x/f although a little part in me wanted to call just in case he was a maniac and actually would bluff in that raise/bet/bet line but I think that line doesn't get bluffed enough in that spot to make it a profitable call.

Would really appreciate any insight about my thought process

Those ranges look pretty good actually, but please dont play a limping strategy from SB with the micro rake. KJo and QJo should be the first hands to drop from MP on tougher tables is kinda what I meant.

Your thought process is sound. When the flush completes you definitely need to be careful about calling hands with no flush blocker. Since you can still have a bunch of AK, KQ, KJ hands with the kicker being diamond thats already a lot of calling candidates better than this hand.
