(sorry hit track pad on laptop before i was finished the first time) With scary board. Made trips but I am either way ahead or way behind. Villian who calls was running something like 40/30.

I think I played this as well as I could. IMO I want this idiot drawing at me. How are my bet sizes? Looking for some alternate views or someone to tell me I am wrong.

Maybe just me, but is v-betting thin on the river wrong? I don't think he checks Jx in this spot, and his river calling range is wider than Jx.

Bet sizing needs to be bigger. You're offering him 3.4:1 on the flop.
Give him more like 2.25:1 on these bad 3-broadway flops.
Raise to $0.60.

Preflop raise seems a tad bit excessive (8xbb). This may be standard at this level though.

+1. I probably make a thin vbet here as well.

I think preflop is fine, I use to raise it to .12 +1bb per limper, and the flop raise should be bigger, .55 or .60, I'm not sure about value betting river though.........

Make it $0.60 on the flop. As played, $1.40 on the turn, check river behind.

I agree with the flop comments, I definitely did not go hard enough there. What do you think is folding to a bigger turn bet. Would a combo Broadway draw be going anywhere (especially at these levels)?

I don't think villain's calling range changes all that much whether we bet $1 or $1.40. He's still peeling this pretty wide, with a lot of pair+straight draw hands, as well as probably any top pair. The turn card is pretty much a total brick, so once he calls your flop raise, he's likely calling a pretty big turn bet too.
