Hey guys, is my fold here to nitty? How is my line overall?

Villain has 19/16 and an AF of 2 over 70 hands. His Fold to 3 Bet is 100%, but only for one opportunity.

Preflop:
Value 3 Bet, Villain Snapcalls

Flop:

I cbet. Villain snapcalls

Turn:

I check, because I think I'm beat and plan to give up.

River:

I improve my hand. Some straight draws also hit. I check and plan to use my hand as a bluffcatcher. Villain overpushes. I thought very long about calling, as his line is very strange. But as he snapcalled two times and because of the huge bet I thought that his range beats me (straight or a set, perhaps AA, Twopair with AQ, though I block some of this hands). So I fold. Let me know what you think!

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A K

UTG raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, Hero raises to 12 BB, fold, UTG calls 9 BB

Turn: (49 BB, 2 players) 5

Against a smaller size, I'd say it's a call, but I don't think your average 2nl villain will have enough bluffs to be balanced when they jam here, so I think you can safely fold.

If I bet the flop Im double or triple barreling, we should be able to get our opponent off Tx some weaker Q’s and middling PP’s , why are we betting the flop at all if we dont plan to continue betting? Flop should be better for callers range and we are OOP. I would also bet flop a bit larger if I am betting , like 60-65% pot.

OP you say you check turn because you think your beat. On the flop when you c/bet what worse do you think is calling? When we do bet flop we are turning our hand into a draw/bluff instead of trying to pot control with Showdown value. Theres a decent chance we can be best on the turn but the question then is; can I make my opponent fold better? and if we can what sizing can we bet to get villain to fold x% of his range. We have 2-over and a gutshot also.

We 3 Bet pre, so what weak Qs does he have in his range, what Tx, besides ATs maybe?
Yeah I cbet flop manly as a bluff with to overs and a backdoor FD
The reason I thought I was beat at turn, was him two times snap calling (pre and at flop). So he didn't have to think twice. I put him on AQ, KK, AA, QQ maybe TT. He won't fold that obviously. After his strong river bet, I didn't even think he had AQ in his range.

You'll find that villains can show up with any suited broadway here pretty much, even if they shouldn't call all of them vs your 3bet

betting turn is not terrible with this hand but our 3bet->flop bet range should contain better bluffs than this hand since a non-zero amount of the time when you "give up" ott he will check it down with a worse hand than AK
