Hey guys,

This was a pretty aggro table, lots of 3 betting pre.
Villain is 19/14/4.5 3b
My image was tight but aggressive, i had actually just 3 bet the previous hand.
Button has 6% 3b, bb has 10%, so potential squeezers behind that i will shove over.

I will let the hand speak, but thoughts on any street?

No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Button ($25)
SB ($25)
BB ($34.39)
Hero (UTG) ($35.90)
MP ($8.75)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q, Q
BB bets $1, Hero calls $1, 3 folds

Flop: ($2.60) 6, 7, 3 (2 players)
BB bets $1.50, Hero calls $1.50

Turn: ($5.60) 6 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3.75, BB raises $10, Hero calls $6.25

River: ($25.60) 7 (2 players)
BB bets $21.89 (All-In), Hero calls $21.89

Total pot: $69.38

how did BB act before you? Anyway as far as I can work out I would just 3bet pre regardless, 3betting a few times in a row makes regs spew hilariously.

HH screwed up, he's UTG, i'm UTG+1 or i guess MP since it's 5 handed.

I agree it does, but for this particular hand I thought max value came from flatting, as 3betting an UTG raiser is very strong and usually someone playing 19/15 won't call with worse.

don't check turn, we lose value from 88+, flush draws, and straight draws, and we allow unimproved overs to take a free card.

I'm confused as to the preflop action which is really important here, but calling river is probably standard

EDIT: Okay now that I know that, still definitely 3bet. After that, you're hand is very very underrepped because of your preflop action, so I think you're fine on all streets other then pre

I just don't feel like they're going to be squeezing some 14pfr guy too light when he opens in EP I guess.

Pretty interesting spot for villain if he has JJ and we 3bet...

There really isn't a whole lot in villains range that beats us, but I can't see us ever being ahead here.....

raise the flop.

his turn xr doesn't make sense unless he has a set or quads. you can probably c/xc.

Also, I 3 bet pf all day even vs this opponent. I really don't like flatting at all.

flatting is way better given he's a nit and there's a bunch of squeeze monkeys behind

HH is f'd up? How can you not act first if you are UTG?

He still has overpairs in his range and doubt that he would do this with TT/JJ so it looks like FD's/overpairs

is he playing 8's-J's this way? He doesn't seem to be worried about you having a 6 or 7 at all by check raising the turn and jamming river. I think his range here is really polarized.. he's going to show up with boats (a lot I think), possibly AA/KK and other times stuff like AK he's spazzing with. Just seems like a crazy way to play 88-JJ. I rarely think you are good here, I'm going to be folding river.
