Did I whiff this hand? Looking back I think I need to 3-bet bigger on the flop, other than that, how bad did I play this hand?

Thanks in advance.

wow that's a mess.

when he raises your donk bet on the flop i prefer flat calling. Our draw gives us good/ok equity but i'm not wild about getting it in on this flop.

I agree. Think were too deep to be trying to play a monster pot here.

I usually just b/c flop. I mean you have a big draw but your equity is kind of trash agaisnt the hands that are willing to get it in (tp, bigger fds, etc.).

just to add once your lead is raised do you really think that you have that much f/e i really dont think so as said allready call flop and why would you lead turn? you just getting more money in behind if you put him on a 9 and your only getting value from an fd where here because of flop sizing i really dout that villain ever has a draw here.

I think I would opt. to just call his flop raise.

Yeah, just flat his min-raise since we have a flush draw and could complete on the turn and potentially win a nice pot. By re-raising him we risk him shoving and this would force us to fold since I am not looking to get it in with that hand on that flop....so call the raise, take a turn and re-evaluate depending if u hit/miss diamond draw.

don't bet the turn or call an all-in. I mean, it starts off as one of those situations where you might want to maximize fold equity, but that quickly bombs when he min-raises you. With him in position, that means that we now have to be cautious.

Looks like an overplayed draw to me. Without overcards your equity against legitimate hands is quite small even with the pair on turn.

This.

Also, donk for less; t30 is sufficient given board texture.

As played we should have the equity with pair+FD to call the shove, but we really shouldn't be in that position in the first place.

Just call flop. If he raises bigger on flop shove.

CRAI on turn, no matter which line you took on the flop.

Cheers guys. During this hand I was talking to someone and not concentrating, so I did review it afterwards and the conclusion was similar, but thanks for the responses, very helpful.
