villain def has JT in range when he turn double gut. also a ton of 9X of course (and very little KX and QX) so im not sure about this spot... i think we have the best hand a lot but maybe we just monkey this one down?

As tombos stated in one of the other threads, the mid stakes forum section has been dead for years, so I would say it is ok.

I would probably overbet turn as played, and river is close-ish, I'd be more inclined to vbet again for a 3/4 sizing ap, but check is definitely reasonable as I don't expect to get called by worse too often even though he (probably) should be.

Prefer the OB strat OTF.

Def. Bet river. I'd bet like 1/3 OTR too just to ensure a call.

Looks like a river X. Like you said, you're ahead most of the time, but there's not enough of your opponent's range that can call w/ worse so the risk/reward isn't good enough.

What size should we be betting with a nutted hand here (like bottom set, JT, KK)?

I’m thinking a pot size bet is in order (although maybe we could bet very small here to cover the XR)

With how you played it I'd split my range, I'd just have a normal sizing and like 3x pot jam with JT/AT

Ends up usually being the right play with the nuts on this runout (JT specifically).

I definitely bet 3/4 pot in my 50 Zone games because people randomly call me with 22. But I pulled out the solver to see how to play this river against competent players. It still likes a 3/4 pot bet, expecting to be called by lots of 9x and a wee bit of 7x. If you feel like it is unlikely that villain will call so light, you can obv just check.

Also, the solver really loves a turn overbet which would not have occurred to me.

Seems like this would be an unusual line from villain with JT. Obviously still part of their range though and flatting out of the bb they can easily have a lot of 2 pair combos as well so I dont mind a check back otr. If your not getting called by better hands sometimes your not value betting thin enough.
