$1-$2 NLH, 9-max.

Hero ($225) in BB
Villain (~$250) UTG+2

Preflop: Fold, Villain calls $2, folded to SB who calls $1, Hero in BB raises to $6 with Js Jh, Villain calls $4, SB folds.

Flop: Jd 10h 2h

Hero bets $6.5 (1/2 pot), Villain calls $6.5.

Turn: Kh

Hero bets $16, Villain calls $16.

River: As

Hero checks, Villain bets $57 (pot size), Hero folds.

Is this just a nasty runout? Do I check the turn and check-call the river? The Jack of hearts doesn't really block anything and I can't beat hardly anything -- losing to any Q, any two hearts, etc. Maybe I beat Ah-x? What an annoying hand.

we're losing value by just betting 1/2 pot on the flop vs fish

we should bet 3/4 pot on flop and turn and c/f river
