Bovada - $1/$2 NL HU Cash
Hero: $646
Villain: $465

Villain was a good player for the most part. Not nitty. More aggro but not ridiculous aggro. My table image was mostly solid. I got caught bluffing a couple of times in smaller pots (it's HU after all), but for the most part when I bet it, I had it, particularly in bigger pots. Playing solid, TAG was pretty profitable against him. He paid off so often.

The hand in question was our 132nd hand.

Hero (button): AK
Villain (bb): 9T

Hero: Raise to $6
Villain: 3bets to $21
Hero: 4bets to $75
Villain: calls

Flop: A89

Villain checks
Hero: Bets pot $149 (he was calling pot bets frequently when way behind)
Villain: calls

Turn: 9

Villain checks
Hero shoves (effective) $241
Villain calls.

Should villain have called my 3bet pf? What about the pot bet on the flop? Were both mistakes? He was OOP so I don't love his pf call, but we were deep so I can understand it. But calling the pot bet on the flop seemed like a bad play imo. I almost always had at least top pair when I pot bet the flop.

He played it bad. He should fold to that huge 4b. I don't like your 4b size its just massive and puts you in a ahitty spot when you whiff. His flop call, not sure. I mean he called a nearly 40x 4b. Can't fold a pair now lol.

i'd say his flop call is worse than pre tbh.

4b sizing is massive, but OK if villain is still gonna call anyway. pretty badly played by villain pre and OTF
