Facing the 4b I don't see flatting is terrible IP, this deep, given the price. Agree or disagree?

His flop bet is on the larger size for this texture that massively favors my range. Thoughts on how to proceed pre and otf?

Yatahay Network - $0.10 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BTN): 279.4 BB
SB: 261.7 BB
BB: 100 BB
UTG: 101.8 BB
MP: 100 BB
CO: 106.8 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 9 T

fold, fold, CO raises to 2.5 BB, Hero raises to 7.5 BB, SB raises to 20 BB, fold, fold, Hero calls 12.5 BB

Flop: (43.5 BB, 2 players) 8 T 6
SB bets 28.7 BB

Call. Seems too weak to raise for value too strong for bluff.

Sorry, it might help if I give some stats on CO & SB.

SB in 76 hands: VPIP/PFR/3b%/4b%/FCBet%/TCBet% = 24/21/14/7/53/63

In 3b + pots, SB cbet flop 3/5 times and cbet turn 2/3 times.

CO in 994 hands is running 24/17 vpip/pfr. He opens 15% (13/87 times). No data on facing a cold 4b.

He has JJ+ 99% of the time here. Probably call with our equity and look to start bluffing him off on certain turns and rivers

I agree.

Flop: (43.5 BB, 2 players) 8 T 6
SB bets 28.7 BB, Hero calls 28.7 BB

Turn: (100.9 BB, 2 players) 6
SB checks, Hero ?

My general philosophy at these stakes is to minimize bluffing on paired boards since V's are just too sticky. That said, how do we proceed OTT?

i doubt it's pure considering we have a bunch of 77, 99, 78, 89 (JQss? AdK?). would be interested to see solution.

I am curious, as well. I am also curious as to what TT/88 and the ever rare 66 does. I don't think checking back caps our range on this texture.

If you send me the raw HH I'll throw it in the GTOx cloud solution. They do deep stack.

Okay the solve finally finished. I had to put 200bb instead of 270 or whatever since it wouldn't work at that deep of stack depth.

SB mostly betting OTF - it mixes all sizings between 25/50/75/100

vs 75% sizing it has this hand as calling and sometimes Jamming OTF (12% Jam).

When OOP checks turn - we stab small with ~90% frequency.

If he calls turn. We always ship river. 16BB difference between checking back and shipping OTR.

You can see the EV difference on the right.

If Villain uses B/X/B line - we mix between calling and shipping OTR. Never folding.

If we look at EV differences - they are not huge. Folding may be better in practice since this guy's cold 4bet range is probably way tighter than it should be.

solver agrees with me but i still dont care what it says. it's mainly solver noise imo and can't be trusted, sometimes hands do different things based on the nuances in multiple flop sizes which this guy is probably not doing

I think solvers are great tools, but, we still are dealing with people who aren't playing perfectly. So yeah, I agree with you that V's line is value heavy.

What surprised me is that solver calls river, it's something I honestly didn't consider much. My thought was how often does V fold a single big diamond OTR to a jam in an almost 600bb pot? Not often enough for me to enjoy the pain of jamming and being wrong lol.
