10NL 6max: River too thin? 10NL 6max: River too thin?

Villain is a regular who I 3bet a couple of times from the blinds in the last few orbits, no real further info

Thought I could get a call from 99/TT often, felt like he was ready to take a stand vs me after giving up a few times. Think he bets flop or raises turn w sets often so went for thinnish value.

River is too thin, rest is fine. I'd expect 99, TT to bet the flop often. If he has 8x in his range then he has 7x in his range.

If river was nicer then you should bet.

Didn't expect him to have 8x, 7x type of hands. I was wrong

    So, too thin it is.

Him calling OTT = mostly smashed river, he can also raised your bet since it looks a lot like thin value. Lastly, I think betting OTF sometimes is fine too.

i think your sizing is good, he might fold to bigger river raise, betting 1/2 pot there is very good it looks like a decent value bet. If we bet bigger villan will fold all hands that we beat and raise all hands he beats us. So if you bet 1/2 he can call you off with crap like that so WP.

I like vbetting light, but this river hit wayyy too much of his range to vbet imo

Good flop for villain to semi-bluff raise though
