i had been c/r flops against him a lot, more than 50%, yet he has not called or played back until here. i didn't really like calling here, so i was shoving or folding. i figure i needed him to fold like 1/3 of the time for this to be succesful. also, he woould slowplay a house or quads here too. my thinking was that he would also just flat the c/r with a king. so my range on him was a 3 or bluff, maybe Ax spades which would suck. good jam on flop?

I like just C/C flop. Especially because of the fact that you have been C/Ring flops a lot and he hasn't played back. This makes it more appealing for him to 3bet a K here and happily get it in.

As played, I probably fold to the flop 3bet. You don't have history of him playing back light, so at best you're drawing to a spade, at worst you're dead.

if he's not playing back at you then it's fine to c/r him a lot to exploit that... but, as a corollary, don't 4bet-bluff him the first time he does play back, because if he was going to 3bet you with air he would've done it before now.

if top pair was smaller than a queen i like the jam but w/ no over i might fold given he hadn't adjusted yet to your c/r.

on the flip side this is just personal experience but $25 seems to be bs sizing
