Reads = Villain is a reg at ub, kind of taghish preflop, a little calling station postflop, and tight raising range (not betting) also a bit aggro.


Ok I know this may sound a bit stupid... but can I find a fold here? I don't think he is ever jamming worse for value, i im pretty sure that villain is not so dumb to try to bluff in this spot, but still with that pot size...

no you can't find a fold although he has a J with better kicker most of the time with ur reads. i like your betsizing on the river if you think it will induce a bluffraise otherwise bet bigger and maybe even fold with a solid read to the river c/r

But if I raise big I can never fold even with an good read right?
I bet 300 he raises to 700, I have to call 400 in a pot of 1400 :S
Also what kind of hands would call a bigger raise? some 5's?!
I was trying to take value from 5's and 4's, also I dont think he has a J with an better kicker, I think most of his range is towards 56/57/47 type of stuff, set's, maybe 66/22 not much more makes sence I guess :S

Any more toughts?

OK TY guys, I folded and showed the hand to him (yeah i know...shouldnt blablabla, but this was my tightest fold ever) and he told me he had 44 (which I guess makes sence).

yea spamz is right. you have to bet bigger on that river otherwise you are going to induce some moves. if you bet bigger then you can easily fold to a raise because he's rarely going to do it with anything that you beat.
