Okay, after reading through this thread I think I must be missing something...

The fold in all honesty probably isn't that bad. You are beat very very often when villain donks the river like this. I mean for such a small bet you probably shouldn't fold just because villain could be doing something weird or missed a random backdoor flush draw, but seriously if he bet closer to half pot it really isn't that bad to fold...
