What do you guys think here? This was a very weird situation where I feel I had too many outs to fold (gut shot to higher straight, pretty high flush /straight flush draw, and turn gave me top pair)

UTG is 54/2/1.6 over 144 sample

There was a massive overbet from a loose passive player into a 3 way pot. Top pair, and 2 pair are no good here, ever. I would even fold a set here.

PF is a fold or Raise, do not limp.

Turn is an instant muck.

lol @ folding a set, op you really shouldnt post the results. if mp wasnt in the hand i would probably call, especially with mp being deep with us and showing strength on the flop i guess fold is good

Yea figured it was a crappy call but combo draws always look so good to me.

I usually raise preflop with QJs not sure why I didn't.

When a 54 2 bets, they always have what the represent, which is the nuts. Unless you have a read on this particular player that this isn't the case, why wouldn't you fold a set? If it were MP2, I wouldn't fold a set ever, but I don't see a reason to ever call a bet from the 54/2. Value bet him all day long. Call him without the nuts? No thanks.

It can bias peoples' responses. example: you post no results with TPTK, people say valuebet, you post result where villain had a set, people say oh you should be careful and pot control.

Because this is about the process, not results. You didn't get to see your opponents' cards when you made your decisions, so we shouldn't either. Some people say not to post hidden results either since it's too tempting to look.
