Is this a trivial call? Hero blocks missed diamond draw but unblocks missed straight draws (like villain's) and spade draws.
At the same time the small river bet size and the feeling that I was getting owned because of entitlement tilt made me think for a bit before calling, don't know if villain was trying to level me or just cheaped out instead of pulling the trigger on a big bluff.
As I see his value range, he has loads of 8s in his range the way the action went, and could maybe check-raise some jacks to protect against draws on the turn, since I would probably check back an eight on the flop.
So the question is, what if villain follows through and jams (would be something like $17 into $13.50) or bets pot?
Do I still call? Feel like I can't only call with boats, but do I call with all overpairs to the jacks? Only call if they're not xd xs? Can I hero with an ace or a king?
At the same time, I have a bunch of jacks myself so jamming an 8 on the river would be dubious, right?
