I'm looking to start a 10NL through 25 NL study group. I'd primarily like people playing these stakes, but I'm willing to look at slightly higher or lower stakes.

Looking for people who are willing to put in the time to move up, and willing to help out other members. This would include sweats, hh reviews in skype, and just general shooting the sh*t. I'm currently a 100NL or 200NL (Depending player, but I'd like to give back to some of the micro players out there and help some people move up.

A little about me: I've dabbled in everything from cash to STT to MTTs, but now want to focus primarily on cash. I will be starting with a $35 on Full Tilt with the intention of grinding out 2NL. I was dead set on getting a coach, but without the funds to afford one, I obviously can't go that route. So, instead, I'm coming here to hopefully find a group of players who wouldn't mind adopting me into their group. I'll be very active and you can expect participation from me whenever mandated.

I'm a PLO8 cash/sng low stakes grinder and have been for the last year. Before that I was grinding NL10. I also grind the 180 man Sngs on Stars. I am looking into playing NLHE again as a main game and wish to start at the NL10/NL25 level.

Hi folks. I'm a guy interested in making microstakes poker a source of modest income (or decent if you're from Eastern Europe like I am :P ).

My biggest obstacle on that road is that I cannot motivate myself to do it all on my own day in and day out. I've played 0.05/0.10$ Full Ring NL for half a year avaraging 2.5ptbb/100 but am currently trying to aquire some basic skills in 6max and small stakes multi table SNG's.

I'm looking for someone interested in starting a friendly partnership in studying and playing micro poker - talk strategy, do some sweats and even brag about big scores and complain about bad beats from time to time :P. I currently co-run a Skype study group for SH players looking to improve their game and increase their winrate. The group has been running for a while and as of 11/10/10 we have 72 members. The skill level varies and people are playing different limits. We have some struggling 5NL players but we also have winning 1000NL players.

If you join our group there are a few requirements:

* Fill out our Google documents with basic information about you
* Have a microphone
* Take part in hand discussions
* Take part in poker discussions
* Take part in sweat sessions
* Take part in recorded or review sessions
* To not whine about bad beats / suckouts / downswings
* To not make off topic conversations in our group
* To respect other members and understand that some are not as experienced than you


In this group we prune members who are not active and we also remove any members who are abusive and do not try to help other members.

The main reason I want to join study group is to improve my game, because I am not confident in my game. It will be totally helpful to discuss hands with the other poker players. It is my first community. Group will give additional motivation to play poker.
