10-25nl 6max nl player here looking for pokerbuddies/studygroup/sweatsession

I am somewhat new to online poker but I have been a consistent winner at 1/2nl live.

However I am running into problems at these micro stakes specifically I find that bluffing doesnt work much even when you do it right because people just dont care about 5 or 10 or even 25 more bucks. Or they dont understand that calling every street with bottom pair after the guy raised preflop is ******ed.

1 of my PROS is hand reading aka knowing that I am am beat or ahead and usually by how much.

1 of my CONS is that alot of the time I know Im beat but not by much so I try to out play the other guy and that **** loses me all my profits I grinded up real fast.

1 of my pros is that I am extremely dedicated and read books and watch videos to help improve my game. I spend 2 hours studying for every 1 hour playhing.

1 of my pros is that I win 1/2 nl live

1 of my cons is that unlike live you can play online poker whenever you want and I always play too long for my own good. I go up huge for 4 or 5 hours and then break even or lose after 15. I need to work on my mental game.

1. Of my pros is that I usually go up 3 buy ins within 2 hours
1. of my cons is that after im a big winner I loosen up too much becuase for some strange reason I feel like im free rolling.

1. of my pros is knowing exactly and early on when im beat most of the time.
1 of my cons is that I am too stubborn to lay down and lose the minimum

Basically my mental game and willpower are awful. I might be obssessed with poker idk. I know when i should quit I just dont alot of the time because poker is fun! Its not even about the money to me at this point I just like the psychological battle and out playing and winning. I find that at these stakes I have to adjust my game because I cant outplay someone that isnt paying attention. I start thinking on the third and fourth level too much and do things like "well obviously he should realize I have a marginal at best hand right now so why would he bet so huge on the river on such an obvious card he either has total air or the a great hand that will never be called by worse and there for since its more likely that he has air then spiked it and because no smart player would ever expect to get called by anything worse I will call him he must be bluffing"

Well guess what he wasnt bluffing :P. I need to try to stop trying to out think people and just play tighter more aggressive less tricky/bluffy type play to beat these stakes. But knowing that I need to adjust and actually forcing myself to adjust are too different things.

But I do want to eventually be semi pro and to do that I have got to get myself under control and quit playing when i havnt slept or eaten or whatever. When im fresh I dominate 25nl but when im not i crash hard.

Anyway if you want a fun basket case type player to hang out with and talk strategy and talk about poker with let me know. I really do want some help and I really do have some things to offer. I will sweat your sessions if you want and just tell you what I truely think the other guy has and then u can make the decision after that. Or you could sweat me or hang out with me on skype while we both play and you could be like yo battle smurf tell me about your most recent hand and if i cant even remember what happened correctly or sound tired you can tell me to get the hell off because I have played too long and need to quit while im ahead.

TLDR

Im looking for a study crew that can help me understand why stuff that works so well at 1/2 live doesnt work nearly as well at 10-25nl 6 max online. Maybe help me make sure my ptr4 hud is set up and that im interpreting the numbers correctly. And and really to sweat me or watch a video of me playing while I talk or just hanging out on skype or ventrillo while we both play and just talk a bit so I dont get bored and start trying to pull moves on people. I think playing more tables will help that though. It would also be great if you could help me with my mental game shoot me a message even if you just want to hang out and dont think u can help me much ill give you all my contact info. Im a fun guy and I might be helpful to you if you have a good mental game unlike me but are having trouble at higher limits or against harder players or need help hand reading.

A little bit about myself. I'm a 20yr old college student taking pre-requisites to get into my local community college's nursing program. I work as a busboy at my local Applebees, but will resign upon becoming a certified nurses assistant. I'm kinda of a recluse but enjoy the company of others.

My poker background started when I played freerolls on stars a month prior to black friday. I then freerolled on a site and built a decent bankroll up to $30 then handed it over to my father after I deposited on merge. I started playing nl4 and worked up relatively fast without any study or anything and got rolled for nl10. I've been grinding nl10 for about a month now with a bankroll of $393. I'm not really even that good at poker, I'm definitely looking to improve.

I don't have any tracking software at the moment, however, if I get in a good study group I'll definitely invest so I can contribute. I don't have a webcam, either, so I can't sweat, I mainly just want to discuss strategy via the instant messaging feature and actively talk with other poker players. As I begin to learn how and where the study group is heading I'll definitely be more prone to buy a webcam and come out of the shadows

Does anyone want to start from the grassroots??

I want to start or join a study group from the bottom upwards. I've played on and off for about 18 months but I would like to start playing more seriously and really try to become a successful poker player, even if I continue to play recreationally.

I want to form a group of us who are dedicated in making the move from the tiniest stakes up to 100NL by 2013. The goal is just that at the moment until we start playing and moving up stakes. We will then get a more realistic idea of when we could be hitting the small stakes games.

It will require some commitment from your part so if you can't spare at least 1-2 hours every week to go ever theory and hands with the rest of the group as well as your regular playing time then this isn't for you.

I'm from the UK but I can be time flexible as I work 4 days then get 4 off so 50% of my days are free.

About me: I am not yet a successful or profiting player, that's what this group is about; so I can think and chat poker with like minded individuals and we can hopefully push and drive each other to becoming good poker players.
