Long term goals:

1. Be a winning player at the stakes I am playing.
2. Think about the game at a much higher level - develop a sound, theory-based strategy that is difficult to exploit and can win.
3. Move up to higher stakes online - .05/.10, .10/.25, .25/.50
4. Develop sound fundamentals so I can be a winner at live 1/2, 2/5, maybe even 5/10, but that's way outside of my bankroll ATM, and casinos where I live (Boston) are closed due to Covid.

I am looking for people who also have the goal to become an actual poker pro and live from poker. So, people who have the motivation, mindset, time and resources to do so, or are trying hard to achieve this. I want to assemble a small and really close group/ a crew of max 4 to 5 people to study 6-max cash games and eventually MTT's to the extremes. I graduated university in the Netherlands and decided to live and pursue my long-time dream instead of getting a job in my profession. I am highly motivated and have all the time in the world to study and grind.

About me: I am 22 years old, love to play chess, love the process of improving, work out 5 days a week, have a positive mindset, live healthy, creative, play guitar and really open to learn from people with new, diffrent and other perspectives and mindsets, like yours!
I play the micro's and I break even. I stopped playing about 2 months to learn about mindset, GTO principles, the learning process and to build a study plan to achieve my goals. Right now I will start playing 20% of the time and study/practice 80% of the time.

The main focus of the group/ crew will be about:

Discussing theory (Mainly GTO-based, especially in the beginning),
Analysing relevant hands,
Discuss mindset (and other ways to find edges in life that will help in poker),
Practicing together,

If you are breakeven at the micros I think you should focus on learning the game, not BS like "mindset". If you can't handle variance or whatever in 10nl then u shouldn't be playing poker

Hi All - **I am looking for a partner or small study group of dedicated full-time poker players working their way up the stakes in Online 6max NLHE.** I currently play 100NL 6max regular tables on Ignition/Bovada and recently made the decision to fully dedicate myself to becoming the best poker player I can be with poker as my sole source of income. Playing 25NL/50NL/100NL Zoom on Stars and winning ~EV6.5bb/100, 4 tabling. I've not taken things too seriously up to this point (I work full time) but now want to aggressively move up taking shots with small bankroll.

My plan is to beat 200NL Zoom on Stars before YE. I want to beat the regs on these sites and don't want to 'hunt' softer sites or simply rake back/bonus grind as this hinders improvement in your game (I know this from experience).

I want to focus on gto play, utilising solvers (Pio, GTO+ mainly) to optimise spots and have purchased a large number of solved pre and post flop solutions.

I have been getting back into grinding microstakes these last weeks after a long hiatus with studying on my masters degree.

Im crushing the NL10 zoom pool atm, and moving up to NL25 soon. I treat poker as a videogame where money is the points I need to move up. There is no plan in near future of cashing out, because Im doing well financially and the money isn't life changing at this point. I am currently looking to join a study group to help take my game to the next level. I started taking poker more seriously last year and put in about 55k hands in the last year while working full time. I recently left my job and have a lot of free time on my hands that I would like to dedicate to poker and moving up in stakes.

I started out at 5NL and played 12k hands for a winrate of 20bb/100 before starting to move up in stakes. I am currently playing 25NL and shot taking some 50NL on ignition. As of right now I am winning at 25NL after 10k hands at a rate of 12bb/100 (EV ~7.5bb/100).

My goals for this year are to be able to move up to 100NL on ignition and possibly 200NL In the future I would love to try to turn poker into a job as well if possible.

I am looking to study with like-minded people who would like to dedicate some time to getting better and moving up in stakes. I am from the USA and prefer groups where English is the preferred language.

I'm looking to join a study group, or you can join the study group that I'm trying to create. I'm playing the microstakes, and I'm losing I think. I need more hand histories. I'll be getting coaching soon as I have enough HHs to review, and my goal is to beat 25nl. I have 2 coaches in mind already that I've begun speaking with. I'll pick one after I'm done grinding 50k hands. They are both big online crushers. I've been studying gto math lately, and I've been learning a lot lately, but haven't put in much time playing since I know my strat isn't that good. I'm looking forward to spending more time grinding, and less time studying this year after I'm done with this book.

There are 3-4 people in the study group that I just started today. Seems like we are all losing players. I'm hoping if we have enough interest, maybe we could hire a coach to teach the group. We'll do sweat sessions, HH reviews, etc.
