I'm very serious about Poker. Played for more then a year 10NL and 25Nl on Pokerstars. I'm back now playing for 1,5 month after a year break. All my study groups died lol. Í'm looking for a new one, I prefer discord. Send me a link, would love to join an active group. I grind 4 hours a day / 6tabling.

Looking for study partners or a small group - I've been playing for 10 years, took a couple years off but got back into poker more regularly last year. Currently winning at 25NL 6max and 1/2 live, about to move up in stakes.

I am a former B&M LHE pro (played for a living between 2008 and 2015). Twenty years ago I was a regular in one of the few NL cash games in the world. Then online blew up and my NL skill set got left behind.

Recently I have been playing an orphan bankroll on WPN and winning overall: solidly beating 10NL (14BB/100, 22K hands) yet getting crushed at 25NL (-29BB/100, 3.7K hands). Graphs available on request. Obviously I am doing some things right, and equally obviously doing others drastically wrong and would like to work with other players to plug leaks in our games. I am currently working through The Grinder's Manual, and it is helping.

I am looking for like-minded players of a similar skill level. I am not looking for paid coaching. Since I can't provide a winning graph with more than 50K hands, I am not in a position to demand one from others.

I live in California and would be available for group sessions most days between 10AM and 10 PM PDT (i.e., beginning 1700 UT and ending 0500 UT the next day). I am happy on either Skype or Discord, and am open to other platforms as well.

Im starting to take poker a bit more seriously and was looking to start or join a poker study group. I currently play 10 NL and seeing as I want to move up stakes, I feel that talking strategy with people who are also taking poker seriously will help that.

I am a solid winner at 10nl (6max) on Stars with a pretty LAGy playstyle, but now I want to be more serious about it and move up.

To the last four posters on this thread I wouldn't mind starting a Discord thread and setting up the channels. I am thinking you could have a channel for General hand history discussions, guided weekly topics (such as going through the Grinders manual chapter by chapter which is a great book), sweat sessions, and a leader board for hours played / study / results. I have been studying pretty seriously on my own for the past year and set up a binder with sheets for tracking my weekly activities, kind of a table where you record our studied, volume play, Focus play, Live play, discussions, Etc. Just PM me and I will set something up on Discord this weekend! We can just let in new members as they come along or Dropout people who are inactive or not constructive.

For those of you who didn't read my earlier post I'm winning at 25nl and 50nl 6max over small samples on wpn ( didn't get PT 4 until this past Feb). I'm also already PM'ing with a couple other players in the same boat as us so we should be able to start a group pretty quick.

Sounds good. I don't use Discord however, is it better than Skype for our purposes?

I'm a little bit new to Discord myself. But I have been on a couple groups on there and the main benefit is you can set up multiple channels within your group kind of like different sections of the Forum. I'm also on a group where they set up leaderboards and medals or commendations, things like that. You can do text voice or video chat anytime on any of the channels within your group. Seems like a really good platform but I wouldn't blame people if we started with Skype while I set things up.

Starting on Skype (which we probably all use) and then switching over once we established a certain group and get familiar with Discord sounds like a +EV line

I would also like to join this study group. I am at the moment using the grinders manual/NLHE applications/snowie/ gto+ and HM2 for studying but would love to talk poker with like minded people.

Currently playing 10nl where i play between 15k-20k hands a month (depending on working commitments). Managed to grind my way to 50nl at the start of the year however got completely murdered, realised i wasn't ready and therefore decided to move back down.

I absolutely love the game and learning/improving is of more importance to me than monetary gains atm. The quicker we improve the more $$$ we can rub on ourselves! If you're easy to talk to and are of the same mindset then feel free to PM me on here or add me on skype 'Run4mok'.

Hey, I'd love to join that study group as well if possible. Currently playing 10NL on BetOnline. Used to crush turbo SnGs on Stars back in the day and beat 25NL for a pretty good winrate as well, but this was back in 2010. I've been out of the game for a long time and am basically starting over now. Could probably still beat turbos if the volume was there for US players, but as far as cash I'm feeling pretty lost. Never done a study group before, just had a coach, but am very interested to do so.
