I have a feeling I messed up this hand today. This is a $4nl hand on Global Poker, not sure how to convert the hand to be able to post. Don't have much reads on villains besides the fact that most of the population on here seem to be weak loose passives.

Checks to hero. I bet $0.48 into $0.96. Is this too small? Shortly after BTN jams the rest his stack $2.04, and it folds to me.

If he started out with 100bbs and jammed, I think I'd almost always fold unless I had a good read. But in this scenario he started out with 50bbs. I'm curhsed to his sets, perhaps 97, but it's possible he could be doing this with 9x hands?

I ended up folding here. Was this probably a mistake considering his smallish stack size?

Bet flop bigger for value. That would also make the flop a much clearer call with better odds, but you should call here anyway. You're going to be flipping a ton vs. draws and stuff, but he's a short stack and you're closing the action.

Thanks for the advice, I had a feeling that's what I should've done also.

Can't fold an overpair against 1 raise from a shortstack without a read, especially on a drawy board.
