The villain is 24/18 over 500 hands but no specific reads yet. He does have 22% cr so far on flop and i have noted he's capable of c/r with TPTK on 9 high flop but that was SR pot. So after going through this hand i'm not sure if i made the correct play? I could go a bit bigger on flop i guess but would calling his raise here be a better line to take or am i just overthinking?

This is an interesting spot. Feels like we're behind their calling range when we jam (so we can't "value bet"), and no better hand will fold (so we can't "bluff"), yet it somehow wouldn't surprise me if 3-betting was still the highest EV option here.

Good play. Lose to so little here and you're likely facing an overpair or draw. Equity wise you are probably ahead but I'd guess your opponent has at worst a f/d but quite possibly an OESFD. Don't be results-oriented here, you want to get the money in with these kinds of spots.

Yea that was my thought as well when i was goin over the hand but i guess we're also folding out a lot of his equity with draws he can't call a shove with? Not sure if it's better to call and keep those bluffs in but we have to fold on a lot of bad turn cards than?

3bet all-in on the flop is the best option i think, i think overpairs + A9 (no hearths), flush draws call you here. More hands then 33, 88, 99 combo's.

I'd 3-bet PF.

I think it's hard to go wrong postflop, honestly. Like, most of our continuing range probably should be bet/calling but having a small shoving range with a few nutted hands / flush draws seems fine. We block villain's nutted hands, and we generally either get to fold out hands that have a chunk of equity or we get it in with ~65% equity.
